ShareCenter is an open-source platform designed for organic sharing and collaborative work. Its development has been funded by the CTSA Program (National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences) through grants to the University of California at San Francisco (2008-09) and Oregon Health and Science University (2011-12).
Original development was led by Maninder Kahlon, PhD (UCSF) and Christopher Kelleher (OHSU). System architecture, Drupal development, and project management was provided by Ben Sharma of Zaloni, Inc. [LINK]
Ongoing development has been led by Christopher Kelleher, with significant contributions from Christina Elmore (OHSU). Zaloni Inc. has continued to provide system architecture, Drupal development, and project management (Will Corbett, Ranjit Das, and Ben Sharma).
Created and maintained as a tool for the CTSA Consortium, it can be implemented by organizations, either in a standalone installation or via cloud-based hosting provided by Zaloni, Inc. The installation package is available at www.getsharecenter.org, including a package optimized for research networks.
